MB, HB, PHD, FRACS – Richard is a General Surgeon and endoscopist. He trained in Christchurch, Boston (Harvard University, Fellow in advanced laparoscopy) and New York (surgical oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center).
He also works at Christchurch Hospital (Consultant General Surgeon), Christchurch School of Medicine (Senior Lecturer) and Christchurch Weight Loss Surgery.
Richard performs a wide range of general surgery but has special interests in weight loss surgery, hernia surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery and sarcoma surgery.
